You can use your HELP unit as a link to other in-home medical services offered by Medical Services of America (MSA). Our HELP Monitoring Center specialists assess each incident, and determine the most appropriate response to your specific need. Whether you require an ambulance, information about in-home care, diabetic supplies, or medical equipment, or just some friendly conversation, HELP can address your every need.
How HELP works
When the red button on the mobile HELP pendant or HELP unit is pressed, the base unit receives the signal and automatically calls our Monitoring Center. The Monitoring Center identifies the call by unique unit number, and initiates a live call through the HELP unit. Monitoring Center specialists then determine the appropriate response according to your needs. They can even connect you to any family members or friends listed on file for your convenience. No need is too great or small for HELP.
The HELP Personal Medical Connection is equipped with the following:
- HELP base unit, which connects to your land telephone line & home telephone
- A waterproof medical alert pendant worn around your wrist or neck
- Backup battery for power failures
- Automatic daily tests of system viability
- Six customizable medication reminders
- Two-way hands free communication
- 24-hour access to total home health care services provided by MSA
- Adaptable to monitor other sensors such as fall detectors

Our HELP Monitoring Center is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year to respond to each call for help. Installation
Allow us. One of our trained technicians can provide proper on-site installation of your HELP unit. The technician will explain all service options, ensuring that you are comfortable using the system and aware of all the HELP features and services that contribute to your peace of mind.
What’s the price of such an invaluable service?
It’s impossible to put a price on peace of mind and independence. However, the HELP Personal Medical Connection is available for the approximate monthly cost of basic cable TV service and in some states its costs are covered by Medicaid. There is no service contract, and all features are included, with the exception of additional sensors (currently, the fall detector).
